Christmas Tree Lighting

Letter Writing and Christmas cardsTending the fire in the hearth of pioneer home

Join us here at the Champlain Trail Museum Saturday December 1st for a Christmas Tree Lighting Event. This event replaces the Christmas Lamplight Tour. Running from 2:00PM to 6:30 PM, this is an event for the whole family! Children can have their picture taken with Santa by the Kids Day station, write their letters to Santa in the schoolhouse and watch children from Streetlight Theatre practice for a Christmas concert on the hour, have a hot chocolate, decorate gingerbread cookies and check out how a plum pudding is made in the pioneer home. The Saxophonix will be entertaining in the church and the Christmas story will be read in the church every half hour. At 5:30 PM Santa and Pembroke Mayor Mike Lemay will be lighting a large Christmas tree towards the front of the property.

Admission will be at the main building that night, $10.00 for adults and children are free. Tickets for this event are available in advance at the Museum or at the door of the main building the day of the event. We now accept debit and credit cards for payment! We hope to see you there!
